SERVICE SITES
- The most important factor we look for in a service site is whether their site can facilitate a meaningful day of service for our volunteers while simultaneously impacting the Tallahassee Community in a positive way. We feel there are areas on campus and in the surrounding region which can utilize our support but who simply haven’t heard of our organization. This year, we aim to partner with other service organizations and plan far in advance so we can coordinate meaningful projects together.
- Additionally, please note the following restrictions:
- No power tools
- Cannot require specialized skills
- Cannot include animals
- Cannot last more than 4 hours (will take place between 10 AM and 2 PM)
- In case of inclement weather, The Big Event cannot ensure the completion of the project.
